What a spiritual reading actually is

A spiritual reading is a sit-down session where the reader works from conversation and impression rather than a fixed deck or chart. At Psychic Experience on Twiggs Street in Old Town San Diego, a psychic reading is $125 and a combination reading is $180. Nothing is promised or predicted with certainty.

People use the phrase loosely. Sometimes they mean tarot. Sometimes they mean palmistry. Most of the time, when someone calls us and asks for a spiritual reading, what they want is to sit across from a person and talk about something they have not been able to say out loud yet.

So that is where we start. With talking.

How does a spiritual reading work?

You sit down at the table. Georgia asks what brought you in. That part is not filler, it shapes the whole session, because a reading about a job is a different session than a reading about a parent who is ill.

Then the reading itself. No deck required, though we will pull cards if the session wants them. If you booked palm reading at $60 or tarot at $90, we use the hand or the cards as the anchor. A $125 psychic reading has no anchor object, which is why it runs longer and costs more.

And then it ends, usually with you asking two or three follow-up questions. Almost everyone does.

Spiritual reading vs tarot vs palm reading

TypePriceWhat it works fromBest for
Palm reading$60Lines and shape of the handA first visit, or a short sitting
Tarot card reading$90The cards you drawOne specific question or decision
Psychic reading$125Conversation and impressionOpen-ended, no single question
Combination reading$180Cards and hand togetherWhen you want more than one angle

The combination reading is the one we point people toward when they cannot pick. It runs $180 and covers both.

What we will not tell you

We do not guarantee accuracy. We do not tell anyone that a reading predicts the future with certainty, and if a reader anywhere in San Diego tells you they can do that, walk out.

That is not us being modest. It is the actual limit of the work.

Where we do this

Our room is at 3927 Twiggs St, off San Diego Avenue in Old Town, about a five minute walk from the Old Town Transit Center and a block from Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. Twiggs is a short street and the parking on it fills between roughly 11am and 3pm in summer, when the park is busiest. Mornings and evenings are the easy ones.

We are open 9am to 9pm every day, which is 84 hours a week. Georgia reads solo, so there is one calendar and one reader, and the person who picks up the phone is the person you sit with.

How to get ready for one

Bring the question. Even a vague one. The sessions that go nowhere are usually the ones where somebody sits down and says "surprise me," and then spends forty minutes waiting to be impressed.

You can look at all our services and pricing first, or read what happens at a first reading if you have never done this. If you already know what you want, call or come by. We opened our doors under this business in September 2025 and we are here every day since.
