Coronado is a particular kind of community. Smaller, tighter, more like a small town than a part of San Diego in some ways. The clients I see from here often come for the same reason: privacy is harder to find on the island, and the reading room offers it.
Coronado is about twenty minutes to the reading room depending on bridge traffic. Most Coronado clients book a single session and treat the trip as its own intentional outing. Come over the bridge, do the reading, have a meal, head home.
There's a lot of military family in Coronado, and the readings here often touch on the rhythms of that life. Deployments, returns, moves, the strain on relationships, the slow rebuild after a hard tour. I have particular respect for the weight of these questions.
If you want full privacy, video readings are also an option. Many Coronado clients find that working from their own home gives them the space to actually sit with what comes up.
