Reading & Guidance

Meditation Classes in San Diego.

Session· 60 min

Private and small-group meditation sessions for clarity, grounding, and sound healing with crystal singing bowls.

Stillness as practice

"Meditation isn't emptying your mind. It's showing up for yourself, one breath at a time."

Meditation as actual practice, not performance

Most people who try meditation give up because they think they're doing it wrong. They aren't. The mind doesn't shut up. That's not the point. The point is the relationship you build with your own attention by coming back to it, again and again, over time.

I teach meditation in a way that meets you where you are. Whether you've never sat for a session in your life or you've been doing it for years and want to go deeper, the work shapes around your nervous system, your schedule, and what you're actually trying to get out of it.

Built into your week

"Twenty minutes, twice a week, changes the next year of your life. The hard part is starting."

What sessions include

A meditation session with me usually includes:

  • Grounding and settling work at the start of every session
  • Guided meditation tailored to what you're working with right now
  • Sound healing with crystal singing bowls when it serves the practice
  • Conversation about the actual practice you can take home
  • A clear path for what to do between sessions so the work compounds

Private vs. group

Private sessions are one-on-one and shaped completely around you. Small group sessions are for two to four people and offer the additional power of sitting in practice with others. Either works well as a recurring practice.

Many clients come for a single intro session, then schedule weekly or biweekly to build the practice.

Questions

Before you book.

Do I need any experience?
No. Most clients who come for meditation classes have never had a sustained practice and don't know where to start. That's exactly who this work is for.
What are the singing bowls for?
Crystal singing bowls produce sound that helps the nervous system drop into a deeper state much faster than meditation alone usually allows. They're a tool, not a requirement. We use them when they fit the session.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes. Small group sessions of two to four people are a great way to start practicing with someone else. Reach out to set up the time and we'll arrange it.
